i have a buddy that just finished putting the DC5 sidemarkers on his rsx and they look badass, i want to put them on my 02 em2 now. do you think it would look gay as hell or aight ?? opinions are welcome

Sidemarkers were made to signal anyways; not to light up all the time

It cracks me up when people spend the money and take all the time to install JDM sidemarkers and then they'll wire them up wrong...

To answer the question... yes it would look cool if you are going for the JDM look.
A set of stock clear sidemarkers from an EP3 would look cool too if you aren't going for the JDM look but still want sidemarkers with the clean OEM look.

 

the markers are actually the same as on the japanese spec sedan and euro spec coupe. it it the same part number as well. so you could use the DC5 setup just as well.

This is to my knowledge:

JDM - STAY ON W/ PARKING LIGHTS/BLINK @ BLINKERS

USDM/EDM - OFF WITH PARKING LIGHTS BUT BLINK @ BLICKERS

One of my friends as well just got his put on and i believe they are on wrong AND upsidedown. They face the rear if you kno what I mean, its kinda hard to explain but side markers have an angle on them which when I put them on my EM1 put the tall side to the back so they kinda face the front. ahhhaha that was very confusing I know.

So does he have his on backwards and/or wired wrong they only blink w/ blinkers?
