what full coil system for under $1k?
im alittle bit torn between the coil system...which im looking to purchase real soon. i really dont see the difference between tein ss and tein ss pro. the d2 rs is comparable to tein flex and so is the megan racing with its 32 way adjustable. omnipowers are real good but are not adjustable. or should i just go out and buy tein flex by forking over a few more hundred...please tell me your experience...my setup will be mostly for street use..and once in awhile probably good spirited driving at the tracks
i dont see why it would cost 1000 for a full coil system. im just going to buy tokico struts with tein lowering springs; that will be sufficient for me. im going to get some cheap strut bars and thats as far as my suspension mods will go.

Most coilovers are designed to work better as a single unit than are generic shock/spring combinations. Many of them also come with the more stable pillow ball upper mounts as well. Once in a while you run across a shock spring combination that works particularly good, but it's easier and often more effective to buy coilovers.

And yet there are those that would argue this point to their death....
