Should I get my valves adjusted?
The engine is a 1989 B20A5 from a 3rd Gen Prelude. I can hear one of the valves clacking, and I was going to get it adjusted but I was told that on an engine of that age it's best to leave it as it is, because it could possibly affect the compression.
BS or should I really not get them adjusted?
The engine is in top shape, I haven't checked the compression yet, but I'm sure it's very good.

i tried adjusting my valves but the guy who had my car b4 me tightened them all the way. All i can say is what an idiot that guy was. First i tried adjusting the valves to the specs(i think it was 10mm on the intake and 18mm on the exhaust side), did that and it made it worse. so i jus adjusted them back to the way the guy had it. i guess theres nuttin else i can do but replace, and i dont wanna do that b/c im more concentrated on finishing my hatch.
