Hey guys, I already tried posting this in the Accord forum, but with no luck. I just wanted to make sure I have everything with the KONI fronts and back....the part #'s are 8041-1257Sport for the front and 80141-1258Sport for the rear, this is for an 01 Accord LX coupe, here they are -

It looks like you have the right parts. Each shock has two jam nuts, one steel sleeve, one cupped washer (faces up when installed), two flat washers of slightly different OD, and a white plastic bump plate that can be either a cup or a disc and sits on the top of the shock itself.
If the car is going to sit on the stock springs, my vote would be to use the lower spring perch locations and knock about 20 mm or so off the ride height but that is my own preference. If you are using lowering springs, keep the perche clips in the stock location.

because I'm retarded, i dont want to get a spring compressor, and I don't trust myself.....im trying to find a reputable shop around here who has experince but I havne't had the best luck, I live in Holland, NJ and I live about 45 west of newark airport...trying to find something within a 10 mile radius of me
really i thought i wouldnt be able to do it .. after a failed attempt.. but read up on some installs .. just take your time to make sure you do it right the first.. ithink a shop would charge more than 200.. i would spend a few nights researching installs.. thats what i did and im so glad i did the install myself
And the knowlege you gain from doing the install will make you want to work on your honda some more. :D and the $200 you save from having a shop do it can go to an air intake or something else to help the car.
Yes it's a very simple install.

I would hope you wouldn't spend $200 on an intake

I rather it get done right rather than me get frustrated since I have short patience and tolerance when problems arise, $300 is worth less to me than the head ache which will probably be created....
