Creaking from left side of dash / A-pillar?
Many of us are reporting similar problems with the 98+ DC chassis. It can be anything from an intermittant and minor click or metallic chirp, to a severly annoying vibrating/groaning/rubbing sound. It's probably one of those endemic DC2 issues, like the crack in the center of the defroster grill.
Do a lot of other people have this problem? If so, please provide your year and model, and describe the sound.
Some have reported it as the left side of the dash (visible with the door open), rubbing against the under-dash supports. Putting in foam fixed it. Others seem to feel it's metal-to-metal coming from inside the frame (A-pillar/firewall seam area), and have noted possible broken welds.

. Noises in my ITR look like loose weld points, but I can imagine also two pieces covered with for example leather, pushed to each other and moved. The noise could be the leather "jumping" while moved.
