Default Can i bench bleed a master cylinder with bolted onto the car?

I don't have a bench vise so I was wondering if I can install the master cylinder onto the booster without installing the brake lines on then install the bleed kit and bleed using the brake pedal instead? Is this possible? thanks

I put the reservoir onto the MC and then filled it.. put the lines so it would circulate the fluid onto it and then i used a screwdriver, put it in where the brake pedal push rod would go and then pushed the MC, with the screwdriver infront of it, into a wall.
Maybe this will make it clearer than my poor wording.
