90-91 Tail Lights or 92-93 lightz?

I have also debated on this topic.
1. 90-91 has the clean classic Red and Clear look.
2. 92-93 has the Amber signals where as compared to the 94-97 taillights that pretty much everyone hates.
For some reason, ONLY on g2's, I am drawn to the 92-93 taillights. Even though it has the amber signals. What you guys think? g2 owners?

for some reason..im drawn to the 92-93 lights as well, Im prolly most likley gonna swap out my 90's for the 92's..i like the amber in them...no clue why buh in my opinion it looks hot...i dont know what other g2 owners think but thats just what I think..

I like the look of the 92-93 lights as well. How are you going to mount them on properly? Because to my understanding, the trunk style is differerent from the 90-91's and I was told the taillights for the 92-93 will not fit. I have a 90' and I would like to change them to the 92-93' look. Help me!

I believe the differences are in the 4 door models.. hatchback models are all interchangeable.

Yeah i think the lights are interchangeable..because my friend bought a 92 gs-r and the person that owned the car prior to him had switched out the 92 lights with the 90 lights...so it issss possible ^_^ i just dont know how to for sure so im most likley to have mah friend help me out.

hell yeah they look ricey. just get the oem 90-91's. they look alot better than those and plus they are cheaper than $100 bucks

they look like the 90-91 ones...If you clear the oem ones they will look identical...i already have the 90-91 installed...but i didnt clear them but i think they would like identical tails
