oil filter??? air filter??? fuel filter????
The oil filter is a little smaller and is supposed to increase oil preasure. I have also heard that hinda now only offers small filters, which is the same size as the s2000.
This has been covered a few times here, do a search for oil filters and the s2000 filter will come up

i work at a Honda dealership and NO they are not interchangeable. The S2000 filter is larger in outerdiameter and the oil seal is not the same. The filter for your GSR has a smaller outer diameter than the S2000 filter and the oil gasket on the filter is a smaller diameter as well. Honda used to make larger capacity oil filters for the other motors, but now as some one stated, they only make the smaller filters for most engines, the exceptions being the S2000(which has a larger filter) and the insight(which has a super small filter)

I think it was on bobistheoilguy.com (the home oil of complete oil nutcases) that i saw numerous posts about this. The name of the game is increased filtering media. It is like doin the oil filter relocation kit and using gigantic ford filters. You get more oil, cooler running, more filtering, and more oil capacity which = more time before it goes bad.
You guys were quick to shoot this idea down.
Engine rebuilders have been talking about this for the longest time.

you work there doing what? janitor?
the s2000 filter is the exact same size as the gsr (not the new smaller ones). s2000 filters use a different filter element as they are made in japan as opposed to the fram or whatever element they switched to now.
also, the s2k filter has a valve preventing oil back flow. i don't remember if they all have it or not.
