Default Travelin cross country in Jrsc'd GSR, BAD??

I live in texas and plan to move to oregon and back this year after I get my JRSC..... Could this be bad, it wont blow my motor will it?? I remember readdin on Jackson's website about a bypass that keeps you out of boost while cruisin??

doubt itd blow the motor, you gotta do what you gotta do. Id look into that bypass.

He just wants to be on the safe side which I don't think is all that bad of an idea. I'd rather make a post and get flammed and be sure rather than to not make a post and potentially blow my motor. I also personally don't see how it blow the motor since people daily drive with turbos and super chargers all the time, but it always better to be safe than sorry.

If its setup correctly, meaning some retard didn't install it. It will be fine. If you haven't gone Hondata or anything like that and is just using the FMU, as long as its installed per the instructions you'd be fine and you don't need to zip tie anything.

Reasons I could think of why it would blow your motor.
1. Ignition timing not retarded under boost (poor installation)
2. For some reason you thought you could boost continuously in 5th gear for 10 minutes (have no clue where you'd find a road like this)

ya if its installed 100% good ..i;d say no problem. then you think engine will blow up cars that already have superchager?

Itll be fine. Ive had plenty of friends do long trips in their JRSC'd GSRs without problem, or overheating, or anything. Be cool
