Default Positioning exhaust parts for tacking

Okay, I'm asking this question for wdwalker who is a little too feminine to ask a frelling question here. He has the pieces to make a new exhaust and is wondering how to "get JIGgy with them" and fasten them together for tacking. He can stick them, or I can tig them now that I have my remote thumb contactor thanks to Engloid's suggestion. I want to hear a variety of ideas and end up with w/f's "best"

Thanks!

I just hold them in place with a helper and tack away with a mig. Then drop it for final welding.

same here. tack weld it with a mig machine, then take it to a bench and start tigging it. OR....you could position it where you want it, then tape the pieces in place...leaving some areas where you can still tack it without having to move the tape. good luck!
