Arc welder shocking??

Default Arc welder shocking??

Will it shock me if I touch the metal with my bare hands?? since electric is going through it??

Yes it will, only way around this is to weld naked since then there will be no static charge build up between your skin and clothes...

It won't shock you unless you are completing the weld circuit (one hand on the electrode and the other on a ground). You should be wearing welding gloves anyways so it shouldn't be a problem.

very true

the is a little screw on mine that i have touched before and it gives me a nice little shock
