****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*** (car related: tranny problem!!!)

My friend just got to my house, turned his car off, got back in to move it and cannot get the car into any gears!!! As in...you're not able to physically put the shift **** into any gear once the car is on. But, you can when the car is off.

PLEASE HELP!!!

ummmmm maybe the clutch isn't disengaging?

Check these things.
Is there any/enough fluid in the clutch reservoir?
Is the clutch moving the clutch for back and fourth?
Is the clutch for bent damaged?
Something obstructing the shift linkages?

If all of those check out it could be something else.
ie: Failed pressure plate
