Default bought CRX Si, has factory oil cooler on back of D16A6 motor ???

Where did this motor come from? In this 90 CRX Si I bought (blown engine), there is an oil cooler on the back of the motor like some of the B series engines have. At first I thought someone must have added it in there, but upon further inspection, this was factory. The water pipe on the rear has a factory welded return pipe on it and so does the intake manifold.

Is this a JDM motor? The engine is still single cam and is stamped D16A6.
If this is a JDM motor, what special internals does it have? Anyone know? thanks!

Could it be out of a Civic AWD Wagon? They used the D16A6 as well...
