Default How to take apart D series tranny?

I have my tranny cover off, and one of the shift forks broke and I need to take the whole thing apart to put in a new one. But I cant seem to get the gears or anything out. I have removed all the bolts I could find but still nothing will come out. Does anyone have a step by step walkthrew of what to do, to get everything out of the tranny?

That writeup is perfect for '88-'95.

You probably forgot to remove the allen key bolt inside the bell housing that goes through the shifter box inside the tranny..

With all the bolts out, both shafts just lift up with everything on them including the shift forks..
