i just put in new rotors, brembo blanks to be exact, and i just washed my car for the first time since and afterwards the rotors were all rusty brown. my old rotors did the same, but it didnt seem as bad, plus they were really old. any thoughts? i thought they were supposed to be clear coated so they dont rust?

 

They will rust and look just like your stock rotors over time. The surface of the rotor will end up looking like the stock metallic look.
