Default H22 Swap

I've already searched for this and I finding any useful information on my specific situation wasn't very successful. So my question is are there any H-series engines that are a direct swap into a 6th gen accord? If so which one and would it be more than $3500 for the engine alone? I'd also like to get something 97-98+, since it would be slightly retarded to have an older engine in a newer car, IMO. I have heard that the F20B is a pretty direct swap, however I haven't heard of many people doing this swap. I currently have an F23A4 in my car and the head flow absolutely sucks, as the knowledgable F23 guru's out there know this. Would do you guys suggest? If there was considerable F23 aftermarket support then I'd build the engine up and conservatively boost for reliability issues, however that's not reality. Tell me what you guys think, sorry for going out on a tangent.

There are a handful number of people who has the H22 in their 6th gen Accord.

Both OBDI and OBDII is a direct swap in.

People prefer the OBDI, because it has less sensors and restrictions, and it's also easier to tune. The down side is that you need to spend some time rewiring your F23 harness, so that it can work with the OBDI H22.

OBDII H22 would also work, but you need to work on the immobilizer, which the OBDI H22 doesn't have.

Personally go for a JDM OBDI H22. Manual of course.

I have an 01' Manual baby...where would you recommend getting the engine, I think highly of hmotorsonline.com, however they only have up to 95 and I want something a little newer than that. What do you guys think? Also, Bionic who do you know specifically on h-t.com who has done the swap? I'd love to talk with some people who've been through the process and to give a verdict on the end result and how reliable the swap has turned out.

Well. I have done it.

I'm happy with the outcome.

As far as buying the engine, I wouldn't be able to tell you.

Use everything form the F23. Thus, Accord mount, and engine bracket.

Ebay, but I wouldn't recommend it, because I experienced a lot of hassle.

It's a different time now, it was different 3+ years ago when i had it done.
