hi. i have this ecu. its from a 96 ex accord coupe. auto trans. the # is 37820-p0h-L51 i called honda and they said it works only on 96 ex auto accords. i wasnt it as a spare for my 94 lx sedan. will it work on other years? the guy at honda said that the parts computer told him 96 ex auto only. are they full of ****? what else does it work on ? thanks jim.

I heard samething like this before. My friend blew his 97 accord lx motor, then he swapped the 96 accord ex in. The car had couple check engine lights. He brought to a Honda performance shop, the mechanic over there told him he must get 96 ex ecu.

 

the ex ecu has to control all the extras like vtec and such...i have a spare 96 lx ecu however if you would like...it's 5 speed though...

 

it will probably work on 97 Ex's as well..

i know 94/95 have POA (EX) and POB (LX/DX) ecu's

i think 96/97 have POH and POJ ecu's.

 

bump. does anybody know any more about this ecu?

 

it'll work on 96 and 97 ex autos only.
