EK audio console and armrest into EG?

I found a 98 EK with a audio console and want to know if theres a way to swap it into my eg

not without some work, the DC plug area just wont look right. I have an EK and an EG

I don't think it's all that bad. I myself am doing the swap. The cup holders are actually more useful than the old stock pop on ones.
