Default turbo kit questions

okay, im coming accross some money soon, and i wanted to get a cheap turbo kit. Now i seen some on ebay going for about 450-900 bucks. Of course these were incomplete kits, and thats the way i want to buy them because i need custom piping my own ecu and little things here or there that i want instead of some of the stuff kits come with. But there is one kit that comes with a 9lb boost spring, i was just thinking about getting that one and skipping a boost controler, and get a cheap emu. I know im going to need a good deal of other parts to buy to get a working turbo, can anyone that is turboed help me make a list of other parts, and how much they are. The but keep price in mind, because im trying to build a cheap turbo. I dont need to have every single horse i can possible squeeze out of a turbo. So post whatever you got that will help me out, thanks

edith and does a h22 manifold fit an f23

edit 2:and hers the link http://search.ebay.com/t3-turb...omZR8

just be careful, you get what you pay for...sure they might be cheap kits, but the turbos are crap and include shitty parts...i'd rather pay the extra $$ up front and not have to worry about my wastegate failing on me...

I pity you ppl who buys from ssauto on ebay.

And start by finding the manifold for your engine first. Duct tape ebay headers to your engine just won't do.

i owuldnt go cheap as in quality.. u can put a great turbo kit together for around 1000 or maybe 1400 at the most... just have to know what u want and look around for it..... accords are great for boost. and u cna boost a stock motor and make more power then doing a h22 swap and save money.. saving money is always sweet

Sorry i forgot to post the specs of my accord. Its a 5speed manual, 2000 accord coupe LX. Has about 125k miles on it. bshshondaman06, where can i get a turbo for that much? It would be great if you could actually list the things i have to buy so i could just go out and get them. And ive heard thins about ssauto, now that i think about it im probably not going to get the turbo from them (someone had one actually split in half) but if you guys could tell me places either on the internet, or locally (nor cal/sacramento area) that would be great. I would even get a junk yard rebuild if it would save me money.
