Is the ABS on 5th Gens good? If so, can it be installed on 4th gen?
Hey all,
I know this is a longshot but I wanted to know how the ABS system on the 5th Gen is. If it is good, can the ABS computer be swapped into the 4th gen??
I doubt they are plug and play with each other. I just wanted to confirm.
Also, how is the ABS on 5th Gens?? Is it more effective that the 4th Gen's system?

Unless theres something wrong with mines, I would say it's not so good. My wheels locked up on me twice. I swirl crazy, almost totalled my car once.
I have a 5th gen and the ABS works....but it sounds and feels like ****
I don't like the way that the brake fights back at your foot. I have felt it on my roommates 05 2.5RS and you can barely tell it is engaging.
If you don't care about the feel of the ABS pushing up at your foot...alot, then I would say get it as it is functional.
If you have felt the ABS on a sunfire.....I would compare it to that........yes really.
I would say just learn how to pump the brake when you have to.
