Have you painted your car flat black? What makes flat black more boring than any other colour?
Flat black looks great if you do it the right way.

the way it is now will look 1000xxx better than flat black or primer
to me flat black and primer cars are the uglyest things on the road next to a completely rusted car.
get a real paint job or leave it if you dont got the $$ and just save

i'm currently in the process of painting my DC John Deere Blitz lack which is supposed to be very close to the color of the skunk 2 car. I'll post pics when i'm done and see if that helps. Dont do a ratlle can flat black job though it doesnt last very long. as soon as you touch the car it scuffs.
What about color sanding and getting a new clear coat?? I wont solve the pink issure, but the entire car will look better. You could sand the car yourself and find some shop just to spray a clear.
dont make it flatblack
where i live, there are just too many flatblack cars, its getting sickening.

I like flat black but it's kind of a fad now. I don't really like the rattle can jobs though. I have seen a few that turned out OK, but nothing beats a real paint job.
Personally I love the factory GBP, that **** looks tight. Just the right amt. of flake.
For a diff. color, I plan to get my CRX painted in olive drab, but with a nice clear coat.

i say leave it like it is try to wax and buff your current paint. i know you said its rough in a few spots, but thats cheaper than a paint job.
if you dont have the money to get it painted professionally now and you were thinking about doing this yourself w/a spray can or something, just save up and get it repainted the same color later, along with painting your sideskirts and bottom part of the bumber. i think your current paint would look better than ghetto spray can black.
just noticed you have shaved moldings...has the whole car been painted before? or just the doors.
hell if you are desperate, take your chances with Macco.

If your going to use miracle or macco, prep the car and trailor it to them. prep I mean no glass, no weather striping, cover everything you don't want paint to get on including wheels. Strip the original paint off of the car because they will just paint over what you have.

That Civic in the picture is not a flat black. That is satin black. When done right, it (by that car) can look quite well. The only problem with using cans is getting an even coat of paint on the car. Also there is a lot of prep work that needs to be done before hand and during the process. Have you looked into this and understand what it is you need to do? Will this involve removing the engine and interior to do the whole chassis?
It may simply be cheaper to have a professional shop do your flat black paint job.
