A leak, Can this be fixed? or replaced?
I noticed a coolant smell today when I was driving, so I parked the car and popped the hood and I saw that there's coolant leak. Where MOST LIKELY is it leaking from? I let the car cool and checked again, and it didn't seem to be leaking when the car is parked(off). Once I started to drive around for a while and rechecked the radiator, I see the same thing again, it's a slow leak only when the engine is on. Can this be fixed or does it have to be replaced? Is this common in integras?
How much is to fix or replace this?

very common on hondas.. the tanks are made of plastic and they crack.. and sometimes the seal between the tanks and the fins or whatever springs a leak.. its happened to me i think 3 times now. the last one that crapped out was similar to yours but on the other side.. youll have to replace it.. some people will tell you to jb weld it. but thas ghetto.. you can get a replacement from honda with metal tanks.. prolly better
thats what i did.. easy to install too.. took like an hour and a half screwing around, drinking beer, etc.

what do you mean I could get one from Honda with Metal Tanks? Does Honda have 2 different type of Radiator for Integras? one is plastic and other one is metal?
and HOW MUCH is it from HONDA or Acura?
thanks

you could get an aftermarket one.. but i prefer to stick with genuine honda.. they make the metal one now and with the aftermarket one you have to use an aftermarket cap.
time to replace with bling bling!!

that happened to my GSR. I replaced it with a new Koyo radiator made for a b16 Del Sol...saved some room in the engine bay and worked like a charm.
Are OEM 94-07 ones the same as 98-01 for 2door integras?
Are 94+ GSR ones the same as LS/RS ones? cause they have differnt product numbers.
I am browsing OEM honda/acura products at Acura Carland for 94-01 integaras
What is the difference between SAK and DENSO radiator? Is one metal and the other plastic?

You said "denso" is for my car? I just checked under my hood and on top of my OEM radiator with a silver label, it says "Showa, Made in Japan".
therefore it should be "showa", no??

jB weld is that goo stuff they put on leaks and it seals it up like a liquid seal weld thingy it comes in a tube it works i sealed my mk2 supra radiator with it still hasnt given up
Try a bottle of Alumi-seal (sp?) just for the mean time. I've used that **** quite a few times and on small leaks or sometimes even bigger ones it actually works quite well considering you just pour it in and let it so its thing. It's only temporary though
It takes 5 minutes to replace a radiator. Honda made shitty plastic end tanks. Replace it with a full-metal one or JB Weld it back.
Edit: Also clean out your engine bay. Simple Green and some Armorall will make it look like it just rolled off the assembly line.

Bro...your 27 years old. Get yourself a users manual and do something self gratifying. Instead of having everyone on here answer your questions (which should be common knowledge IMO), get a manual and learn it yourself. Replacing the radiator is not the equivelent to open heart surgery. You can be said and done in 20 minutes. You can stomp your feet, call me a dick...whatever. That is not my intentions. The simple fact is, there is a wealth of knowledge on this simple to do job. Learn to help yourself first, this way you are not dependent on a bunch of 18 year old kids who tend to be misleading.
What you need:
1) Users manual (shop manual)
2) 10mm and 12mm socket wrench with extension or two.
3) Needle nose plyers.
4) Flat head screw driver
5) Drain bucket
6) Shop rags
7) New radiator (Denso, Mugen, Fluidyne, Spoon, Toda....)
8) Good music
9) Beer (optional)
10) Maybe replace fan switch and thermostat while your at it (optional). Always to do change things as a whole...
Good luck
