Wher is my radiator fan relay?? 1994 integra ls
My radiator fan will not turn on, I have a 1994 ls so I have already checked the fuse and its good, the fan its self is good, the fan switch is good so I am almost possitive that it is the relay. My problem is locating the fan relay. I need a pic or something and for a 1994-95 other then that its different please help. thanks
i dont know about g3s, but the relay on my 92 integra is right under the fan. my radiator fan never comes on, which i think is a sign that the coolant system is very effective. my temp gauge has never risen above 45%.
My gauge has never gone above the half way mark but Right now its uhh like 93 degrees yeah I live so cal so if I don't fix it now I am going to end up messin something up
that shouldnt matter; ive went to the track when it was over 90 out, and ran my car 10 times in 3 hours and it still doesnt overheat. my friends integra is exactly the same; our fans never come on, even if its 100+ outside.
20-30 minutes on the I-15 with no fan and no movement = hot and on the verge of over heating If I am just drivng on the open road then it stays really cool but 20 min. of nothing but stop and go traffic it starts getting a little warm
Well I finaly found the fan relay it is in the fuse box in the engine bay. It will be the one that is near the battery it is in the far back. Also the reason I was looking for this realy is that my fan would not kick on, and I would start to over heat. Well I checked the fan switch,I checked the fuse, the fan, and all grounds. Well for those of use who didn't know they also had a fuse under the dash
. It is a 7.5. If you think that you may have the same problem, then a good way to tell is if your heater/air will not work either (because they run off the same fuse). I hope this helps someone else cause I spent half a day testin stuff with a multi-meter for nothin
but now I am smart and have a working fan

its in the fuse box by the battery. there is also a relay hidden in the dash somewhere.
double check your fan sensor switch at the themostat and the themostat itself.
mine went out and the radiator decided to let the pressure out its own way. by breaking the top loose.
get it checked and fixed. you need that fan blowing on the radiator.
hope this helps.

a common thing on 3rd gen tegs if for the radiator switch to go out. its located behind the distributor, down towards the intake manifold flange. mine went out in my GSR and i ended up sticking a paper clip in the harness side plug to keep the fan on all the time. ghetto
