did a little more searching...everyone says hastings are good rings, they seem to be good in quality, my mechanic told me to get total seal rings but i've heard plenty of horror stories, my mechanic said chromoly rings tend to go bad after awhile and they are harder to seat, but i did some more searching and found out honda rings are chromoly rings according to whatever someone posted, so now i have mixed feelings can someone enlighten me with more info on these rings

Not true with a high quality ring.

If the rings are perfeclty lapped round and the cylinders are round, break-in is already done right?

ive run hastings on both of my last motors. I refuse to use anything else when it comes to a oem piston. Everytime i check ring end gap on thje hastings rings they are dead on across the board. I wish I could say the same for other ring manufacturers.

If you decide to buy oem rings, I will buy your Hastings.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Rocket &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

If this scenario were possible, it would be correct. But it will never happen.
