anyone know where i can get some oem piston rings for cheap?
just like the title says, just ordered some remanufactured oem jdm itr castings, they gave some shitty hastings rings, does anyone have a hook on some cheap oem rings?
did a little more searching...everyone says hastings are good rings, they seem to be good in quality, my mechanic told me to get total seal rings but i've heard plenty of horror stories, my mechanic said chromoly rings tend to go bad after awhile and they are harder to seat, but i did some more searching and found out honda rings are chromoly rings according to whatever someone posted, so now i have mixed feelings
can someone enlighten me with more info on these rings

Not true with a high quality ring.
If the rings are perfeclty lapped round and the cylinders are round, break-in is already done right?

ive run hastings on both of my last motors. I refuse to use anything else when it comes to a oem piston. Everytime i check ring end gap on thje hastings rings they are dead on across the board. I wish I could say the same for other ring manufacturers.

If this scenario were possible, it would be correct. But it will never happen.
