Default Koyo, Fluidyne or Cand R?

I have a turbo accord and well with the damn front engine mount i need to find a aftermarket radiator and the choices are fluidyne koyo or c and r anyone tell me whats the difference in these radiators. I know prices vary alot the koyo being the cheapest. I see the best of drag teams using fluidyne mostly and a few c and r so why not the koyo? I want the one that will cool the best most efficient and best quality? any help is great!

when choosing a radiator, u really need to put in mind wuts it going to be used for, not wut teams r using it and winning...becuase the drag teams only need to keep there engine cool for several seconds and try to use the smallest avaiable radiator needed to save on weight(cuz liquid is heavy!) and road race or endurance race teams use a better, higher capacity, radiator to keep the cars cool through the entire race..so if ur car is a daily driver weekend racer but u only drag it, it will prob be a smart decision to not emulate the drag cars cooling system...as far as brand, i dunno the difference between them, i kno fluidyne is real good, and so is koyo(surprised me to hear dat koyo was cheapest), never heard of C&R tho

ok im not just going by what drag teams use i know what they use how long they use them and how big theirs are all im asking is who has an accord that is a daily driver and is turbo, i would like something smaller and def more efficient then factory. and i have heard good things about all of them , also im asking which would be the smallest and most effcient, in the fact that i don't have alot of room in from of my motor for two fans ac and a turbo manifold so i had seen that the koyo ones seemed to be thicker than the fluidyne ones?

Well the smallest isnt always the best even tho most aftermarket aluminum radiators r thinner than OEM. The three companies u listed r good companies but the only diff is the size. Id just go onto there websites and check out the differences and just choose the one u think would best suit ur turbo application.

i was also wondering where people might have gotten them along with if anyone with any accord has used the half sized radiator for the F22B1? if so you happy with it and have u done anything about a new thermostat to increase cooling affect?

Aluminum radiators are known to have better tendency to cool and there thinner which is a good thing. Where u can get it, some performance shops carry it i gotta friend that distributes parts at a warehouse and i think they carry it. Taking out the Thermostat helps during the summer if ur in a hot area <TEXAS> but in cold areas u gotta keep in cuz if the engine stays too cold ur oil will start sludging, get bad gas mileage, bad performance, etc.... I dunno about the weather in PA so its your call on that part.

taking out the thermostat will do serious damage to ur engine, the old race teams useto do that as a lil trick, less part to break on em.,.wut happens is since its not there to slow down the flow of ur coolant it doesnt circulate all through the system and sum of ur pistons end up getting smoked...
