Default Exhaust Question

I have a 92 cx hatch with an 99 ls swap.. I recently got a piping done and the size of it is 2 1/4. The exhaust is very loud.. i also still have the cx fallange on there still... would it be not as loud if i got a high flow cat and an LS fallange.

High flow cat usaully means more flow=more noise, and flanges dont mean **** a flange is a flange is a flange, you could put sunbird flanges on there if you desired
