I recently purchased the strut bar for my 5 gen and the bar is like 1/2 inch too short. could this be manufacture defect.

I was considering oblonging the mounting holes on the bracket.
any suggestion of what I can do to mount these bar.

 

try to flex the chassi to move the holes over, if it is on the ground it will flex in if it is on jacks it will flex out

 

Jack the car up.

 

does spoon makes stuff for ludes?

 

I thought jacking the car up will cause the mounting bolts to move further out; which will make it impossible to mount.
