d16z6 oil problem
I think the exon-valdez parked under my hood recently cuz there is oil ALL OVER the timing belt area. It goes up all the way to the cam gear so I assumed ( I know about assuming) that it was the cam seal. NOPE dry as a bone there. So from what I can tell it's the crank. What is involved in this and are there any other seals/gaskets I should change since I am gonna be covered in **** anyway. I would rather be safe than sorry. Also I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of oil on the underside of the car arround the pan and in that general area. Should the pan be sealed with RVT type sealer or a real gasket. It has had RVT there since I bought it. Also as a side note I don't have any puddles under the car it just is all over the side of the motor. Thanks for any advice
