Starting a new thread does not help......just update the old one.
But anyways. You hard wired the actuall blower so that is fine. Does the selector work. I mean the one that selects face, face feet,feet.....etc???
Have you ever removed the vent console?? If so did you plyg it back in all the way? Till the plug "clicks" into place??

well its not all put back as of now im trying to get it working before i put it all back together. the only reason i hardwired it to the battery was to make sure the blower is still good. i changed out the resistor. i checked the fuses and the blower will ocassionally turn on and off whenever it wants.
kinda sounds like a bad ground, or a loose wire at the blower. I kina doubt the controler switch has anything to do with it

i know its not a loose wire at the blower because i removed the blower and it is sitting on the floor plugged in. where would that ground be?

I wonder if the strong current directly from the battery can operate it, but when you hook it up in the car, the current isn't enough. Dunno, shot in the dark.
