Which gasket should I get for my B18B LS Non-VTEC Turbo Integra??? I've heard good things about Cometic, or just going with the OEM gasket from Honda. I was wondering if a thicker head gasket will lower or raise the compression, also should i get a thicker head gasket for my application? If so, what thickness is good? Also, do you know what bore a stock B18B LS motor is??? I'm thinking it's 81mm but I need reassurance and a Haynes Manual! Let me know guys! Really appreciate it!

Sounds like we have the same setup.. I just bought a cosmetic one from civicross, he had a good price on them, and they're heavy duty.

and yeah your bore is 81mm on that block.

 

You can also go with a Cometic or OEM gasket. It's a bit hard to beat the quality of an OEM one. I just ordered an OEM gasket to be bored out to 84mm for my Type R turbo.

 

what is the thickness of the cometic head gasket did you get? and is the one you got MLS or the other one with the "fire ring" thanks for the quick reply guys!

 

I didn't get a Cometic. I got an OEM gasket. Here is a link for the specs.
