the cheapest route is going to be turbo. 450 to the wheels is impossible with just a supercharger on a GSR, and extremely expensive going NA, and i mean extremely. if you do manage to put that much power down then it's useless because your not going to have traction, and your clutch is gonna slip like a prom dress in june. so your looking at thousands and thousands of dollers and in the end the car is still a front wheel drive honda which will probably be stollen if it's that heavily modified and daily driven. hell it doesn't even have to be modded for it to be stolen, those GSR's are taken all the time. i suggest you save your money and do a ton of research before making such an investment.

Hell yeah I agree with this guy here. I myself got a JDM Sir-G as a graduation present and so far the only mods on it is the ones that was there when it was imported into the country. I dont plan on doing anything until I finish school and if I do it would be something small like strut bars etc... To go drastic like a 450hp turbo set up is just asking for trouble.

yeah.. youre going to have to fully build the engine, or atleast mostly, so your engine can handle more than 10 or so psi safely.. Its going to take a lot of money and a lot of patience, as well as a lot of reading 450 horsepower is almost too much... why dont you just go with like 270 or so? itll still be fast as **** and WAY WAY easier on the wallet.
After 300hp dosent it becomer really hard to make it a street car. And I am not even talking about passing smog or anything like that. It is just a hard car to drive, and the parts so so fine tuned that it becomes hard to keep it all running smooth

don't get too excited.
odds are you're going to make all these plans but they're not going to go through for whatever reasons. money, work, time, anything. you're young. i know your feeling because i just got out of it. start off small cuz there's much better your money can go for.
plus, you're going to school at state. your car will most likely get stolen if it becomes noticeable. san diego is NOT a safe area for imports. **** gets stolen out of chula vista, national city, even mira mesa every day. even here at UCSD **** gets stolen every day. trust me. just be careful. and think about what you're doing with your money.
plus, 450 WHP is going to kill you and give you TONS of headache that you won't want when you're in college. there's a lot more important things than a car in college.

i agree, even though you are getting a scholarship, there are other things that are more important than having a fast car.

you're going to have to build the internals because the only way to get 450hp, even turbo, is to run a high psi of boost and stock internals will be gone past 12 or 13-ish psi. I know of a lot of turbo integras and they usually make 250-350 but i havent heard of very many breaking into 450 range...hmm maybe turbo + nitrous lol....450 is a pretty high goal...have you done any research at all?
