Default dual exhaust

i was just wondering if it would be possible to get dual 6 inch exhaust (custom of course) on my civic. or if it would be better to just get dual exhaust with smaller piping and just get big mufflers on them. thanks for your opinion

I've seen it on some 4th gens. Not worth it IMO. If you're going to have 6 inch pipes you're really going to hurt performance.

Sorry I'm not helping you figure out how to do it. I'm trying to convince you it's not worth it.

Oh. and anything is possible if you're going custom. Just take it to a muffler shop and tell them what you want. They might laugh, but they'll do it for you.

You can always use a fake extension for your second tip and I don't think your mom would mind....

Yea, it will hurt performance, especially if you use a cat-back system. If you like the sound, and want a big cheap POS, get an apex dunk, they sound good, but look like poo poo.

These other guys don't know what they're talking about. Don't listen to them. Here's what you do if you want something no other civic has. Pop your hood sometime and look at that ulgy metal thing in front of your engine. It might be covered by a black shield of some sort. Take your car to a local mechanic and ask him to remove it. Don't listen to what he says, just have him do it. After that take it for a spin and listen to that baby roar. Trust me, no one else has this setup, you'll be totally original!! Plus it will sound so much better than those twin 6" sewer pipes that you originally wanted.

HAHA if your talking about removing the headers it will be loud as hell... we started this kids car up when he was putting headers on his h22 and it was shooting flames out the exhaust manifold..

Yeah, I actually did it on my 87 CRX once. That's why I'm reccomending it. It gives you that cool, "fire out the exhaust" look, just like in the fast and the furious. It's mad TiiIitTttTeEe B0yZzzZ y0.

LOL..my opinion..its rice...and yes it does look different, and make your car louder........If thats what you want go for it man!! But its not just the majority of the import scene that will laugh at you..the domestic crowd will definitely clown.....

Keep it nice not rice,

Well if your set on the whole exhaust idea (I thought my open head exhaust system was the best) then just go and get an aluminum trashcan welded to your stock exhaust. Shouldn't cost more than $50 for the trashcan and labor. Then you can go brag about your 26" exhaust tip.

Damn, I hope you didn't take me seriously. All that stuff was a joke.
Go buy 2 universal N1 style mufflers for $120 each and have those made into a custom exhaust. You're looking at around $250 for the mufflers and 2" piping with labor to weld it all shouldn't be more than $200. So basically $450 for a custom dual exhaust with N1 style mufflers. If you want the traditional oval style mufflers get the ES oval mufflers. They go for $99 each at http://www.jdmhondaparts.com.

And NO ONE has dual exhaust on a civic.
