Default Odd 4th gen intercooler question...

Hey guys,
I am rebuilding my motor and my turbo kit and intercooler piping for 4th gen ludes are very difficult to find. I am not trying to cheap out here, but I was told that gsr intercooler piping is very close to the lude (except for an addition of piping). Can anybody confirm this? Otherwise, can anyone tell me an inexpensive place to buy quality piping(maybe thats an oximoron, but oh well ) The cheapest I have found was $475 for new drag intercooler piping. I defered a member here who would've sold me a revhard ic and piping kit for $475, which was a good deal, but I didn't have all the money then Anyways, thanks for any help

Have you thought about having a shop fab some piping up for you? My friend did that and it came out real cheap.

Edit: I just noticed where you live...never mind

Well the drag piping is very nice. I'm not sure what material it is, but it has a very nice shine. The rev hard kits and a few other turbo kits have dull lackluster metal...im not really a fan of it. Drag has been the best piping i've seen. 2.5" I believe.

The gsr is nowhere close. Keep in mind a lot of it depends on which manifold you run as well...

I'm not after "luster", I'm after quality and reliability, drag is just too expensive.
97preludeguy, yea, NH sucks. I'm all on my own for parts and service

Yea, I am running a drag manifold and I could not find anything else even remotely close. Any other help/services are welcomed!

EDIT: will any other model honda intercooler piping work? Accord? 97-01 prelude? Thanks

Well "quality" and "too expensive" don't go well together.
