Default Brake lights dont turn on ever!

I was notified today that my brake lights dont turn on. I also turned on my headlights and nothing lights up in back and when I unlock my doors with the alarm remote the rear brake lights dont blink like before. I checked the bulbs and fuses and they are all fine. I checked under the steering column for the brake switch but not sure what im supposed to be seeing. Is this an alarm problem or the brake switch? I need help fast cuz its super dangerous to drive like this.

Loose grounds?

it really sounds like a fuse though.

nope it cannot be a fuse if brake lite and tail lites dont work they operate on totally separate fuses ,it sounds like loose plug on the back or some to do with his aftermarket alarm system

If a fuse popped from something to do with the bulb it could of popped both fuses.

All the bulbs in the back were fine, every damn fuse was fine. At first maybe I thought it was the alarm cuz it was acting funny lately like not even working. But I ended up taking out the plug for the brake light switch and jumping two pins and it worked. Then I took out the brake switch, plugged it up, pressed it in and out and it didnt work. So I just got a new switch. I didnt think it was the switch at first cuz I was searching and people who had this problem had their rear lights working and mine didnt so I thought it was something else. Thank god it worked cuz I wouldve been stumped. I dont know how long its been like this either til that guy yelled to me on the damn highway going 70mph that it wasnt working.

yo dvp are you trying to say that replacing the brake switch made your regular rear lites work ??? i know it would make the brake lites work but a brake switch is not the cause of normal tail lites not working ...

Yes sir, before replacing the switch, nothing in the rear worked besides the signals. The rear sidemarkers turned on the with headlights but nothing else. Thats why I was hesitant to do the switch.
