I am planning on painting my sideskirts on my VSM 99 Civic. I was wondering what I need to do before I paint them? I am planning on getting the paint from http://www.paintscratch.com and I was wonderinghow many 12.5 oz cans do I need to paint both sideskirts? Do I need to buy the primer and clear coat from there or can I just get it from an autoparts store?

Yes get primer and clear coat.

If you don't get primer the paint wont hold and if you don't get clear coat then the paint will chip like mad.

Dosen't matter...as long as it's automotive paint that will work on plastic

 

oh ok. The reason I ask is that when you mix dupli-color and plasti-kote automotive paint it bubbles up.
