Default Soooo ... what happend to the NYC (NE) and TO caravan(s) in Chitown last night?

The front guys took off and the slower guys never caught up to me by the time to leave Rt 80 for Chicago, so I drove through into Iowa by 5 am.
Well actually 4 am if you count the time change.

I'm playing with the car in the Holiday Inn parking lot at the moment.
Will be all ready for tech after a beer!

They were on their way... Last I talked to SH Chris N, he was at Walker Bro's eating, and they were waiting another 15 minutes for a slow poke, and they were going to take off. That might have been ~1:30 or so.

I'm lagging behind waiting for the wife to get off of work. Wai is also lagging behind, waiting for himself to get off of work.

I drove to and from work yesterday on untorqued lugs!!! They might have been 30 ft-lbs or so. I hit them gently with the impact wrench, fortunately I hit them hard enough to keep the wheels on

Whoops...

I'm avoiding I94/294 in chicago. I'm heading west north west up to 43, then 39/90 south, then 80. I didn't think I'd be in Wisconsin today! Oh well. They have less cops but I seem to be unlucky there. We'll see.

I don't know who it was either.. the version I heard was an ITR driver went to avoid hitting someone and ran into a construction site (road construction that caused the slow down). All I've heard was what I just typed and that the ITR is totalled.

Accident details:
westbound on 88, traffic slowed/stopped to gawk at construction, sti stopped and was rear ended by the intrepid, PY itr then rear ended the intrepid.

The ITR looked bad. Cracked windshield, air bags deployed, smoke pouring from the crumpled front end. The intrepid had some rear bumper damage and little front bumper damage. Sti looked to have minor rear bumper damage.
