Default B18b int mani and head swap

car is a 90 teg sedan. i have access to a complete B18B head and intake manifold for cheap. i read that the head and intake manifold flows better. also, the b18b cam is more aggressive. has anyone here done this already? these are low kms parts and i have to change the timing belt anyway so i thought if these parts will give me more HPs, why not ?

also, do i use the b18a timing belt and headgasket? if there's even a difference ?

is this swap worth it?

i know i have to use the obd-0 distributor and injectors.. i'm probly gonna get the head and manifold port/polished before i put em on

The head is same, but the cams will be beneficial. Regarding the intake manifold, it's not as much of an upgrade as some people would like to think. You'd be better off investing in a Blox manifold.

There is a guy on nonvtec.com that did this and only gained like 6 or 7 hp!

thanks! i think i'll wait until i have enough cash for a turbo set-up, which was the original plan. NA power is just not enough especially the amount of cash to power ratio

still check out that site. We have a forced induction section for B-series engines. I have also seen some NEW turbo kits going on ebay for really cheap.
