People are going to steal those too.

jsk62 what did you need to shave your emblems? The back emblem, where it got stolen, has about a quarter of an inch of a scratch/chip from the tool that the guy used when he stole it.

Theft is inevitable. The badges suck enough at $60, but the paint damage is the worst. I have fake red 'H''s f/r - $25 retail for 2. No theft issues. This is the cheapest, easiest solution.
Looks close enough to real JDM, but the red color is not quite as dark or 'deep'. I have a set of real JDM H's stashed away for someday tho
Shaving, shave. v. 1) Old school car customizing technique of removing exterior objects (e.g. emblems, handles, etc.), filling the remaining holes and/or reworking bodywork, and re-painting to form a seamless, smooth, or 'shaved', surface in it's place. As if the removed part had been shaved off. Origin (and I'm not making this up!): Imagine bare shaved female nether regions! :0
No, it's not typically 'easy'. Basically repainting the entire panel. Holes need to be filled via metal work (e.g. welding), not just bondo.

haha, he is been sarcastic, as in they would get shocked if they touch it...Doh
To shave it the holes need to be filled, it can be done with bondo but not recommended as it tends to sag and crack.

i had my badges stolen within the first couple weeks of owning my R. the theives used a sharp edge of some sort and severely damaged the paint around the area. i had the shop repair the damage and fill the holes to give it the "shaved" look. Had no worries since...although i miss the look of the R with the badges on
