Default Autometer Gauges

I want to install a A/F gauge and oil pressure gauge in my car. I plan to get one of the 2 pod Autometer pillar things to install them in. I was wondering what the differences in the styles they offer are? Just cosmetic I imagine. My car is a Black 4th Gen with Black Leather interior.

I like the look of the Phantom Gauges but don't think they would match very well. I also thought the carbon fiber ones would be all right but I have no other carbon fiber in my car and don't plan to add any. I suppose that the black faced ones (sport-comp I think0 would be the most neutral looking. I was wondering about the ilumination of them as well. can you change the color of the bulbs in them or do they come in different illumination colors for the different styles.

Should I use the 0-100 psi or 0-200 psi oil pressure gauge? I don't know what pressure we run so I don't know if it falls out of the range of the 0-100.

Finally, The mechanical vs electrical oil pressure gauge - are they the same, with the use of a sending unit that mounts under the hood or are they different? Are the prices much different? Are they the same in accuracy? It appears in pictures that the mechanical ones have a broader sweep... is this correct? Which is the better of the two? I'd prefer to run wires vs tubes for oil into the cabin.

I was actually getting them in preparation for the V-afc. Just figured that they were cheaper and would come in handy for playing with the settings since I won't be near a dyno any time soon. The oil pressure gauge is basically just a filler for the pod. I figure that i'd like to have it to keep an eye on my oil pressure since it seems that my car is drinking the stuff and I have been a bit low on occassion. I check it but this will be in my face to help remind me to keep an eye on it. Can you think of a better use of the extra gauge pod spot?

The mechanical ones will be more accurate. The electrical ones are easier to put in. I think tho that they run of the ecu codes...Not sure tho.

I have a black face / black bezel A/F guage & oil pressure gauge that I'll be selling within a week.

here is a picture:

webshots sux so there is the link. cut & paste.

I'll be selling the sending unit for the OP gauge as well.

for those that can't see it:

oil pressue IS worth it on the H22. the factory dummy light doesn't come on until you get below 4psi. Before I got the gauge, my motor burned all the oil off.... if I had the oil pressure gauge, I would have noticed it dropping... and I wouldn't be named JDM lude
