clutch wont work on the ls vtec

Default clutch wont work on the ls vtec

I just did a ls vtec swap (gsr head) and put it all back togethor and now the clutch wont work any sugesstions.

why did you take the clutch apart for the conversion? Can you be a little more specific about ur problem?

well, you may need to bleed the clutch line. but what isnt working? is the pedal just sitting on the floor? will the gears not engage?
as was stated above... be more specific.... its just like saying.. my car is broken, can you tell my why?

We need some symptoms.

yes i took the motor out, i have a gsr transmission with the ls block and it starts up but it wont engage the gears

I don't know the answer to this... but is the LS block compatible with the GSR tranny?

Yes, the B18A/B B18C and B16 can all bolt up to a "B" tranny, sorry dont know my tranny codes

would be the master cylinder in that case. or the actual clutch.
When you had the tranny out... how did the clutch plate look? Are you sure it was lined up properly?

me buddies had the same problem last week, when he put the tranny back on the tranny was tightend but the spline wasnt all the way lined up and it scored the inside of the clutch hub so when you went to prss the clutch the clutch wouldnt dis-engage...so a quick clutch swap solved that problem....i also thought it was the hyrdrolic system, but it turned out to be the clutch
