If it's stock, OEM pieces are just fine!

If you're looking for something super-strong (turbo etc.), Action 2MD is a nice piece.

I have a Fidanza light flywheel and like it.

if you searched, you'd find lots of clutch talk. There's a H-T post called "Clutch 101 by Rocket", or read it here:

"best" really depends on what you'll use your car for. here's some suggestions i have:

daily driving?
clutch - honda oem, oem replacements such as exedy, etc.
flywheel - honda oem

moderate track?
clutch - honda oem, or stiffer products such as exedy, act, clutchmasters, etc.
flywheel - honda oem, or comptech, toda, fidanza, etc. *

* - lighter flywheel best coupled with a slightly high final drive gear, or gearsets.

i wouldn't really be able to comment on a full track setup, though even a lot of "race" cars on this board do use oem or near oem spec pieces. i'm sure many of the members here would be glad to hear what you plan to do with the car. it'll really help everyone on the board give you some good ideas.

and congratulations on getting your car. welcome to the board!

People may call me crazy, but I love my Mugen 3puc. The price may be high, but it matches the quality.

Well i plan on supercharging it before the end of the year. I'll probably end up taking it to the track maybe 2 times a year at the most although i do drive it hard on a daily basis. I am not 100% positive that it is the clutch, It didnt bark 2nd or 3rd anymore so i was guessing it was the clutch although it didnt rev high when changing gears. ( i went fom 4th to 3rd while racing, thats what made me think it was the clutch, you could smell clutch bad ) then lately it has been getting harder to change gears and while running hard grinded going into 4th only. Now its getting harder to put in gear and grinds in every gear at one time or another. to aviod grindoing i have to clutch pull it back to neutral, clutch again and then put it into gear. if yall have had any of these problems before or know anything about it, please inform me. i would like to know what all is wrong before i buy a clutch or god forbid a new tranny.

The best solution to your "problem" is to stop abusing the car on a daily basis... driving hard is fine, abusing your equipment is not and only leads to headaches.

I love my act 6 puck clutch mated to a clutchmasters stage 5 pressure plate though you really don't need that unless your planning to make some nice numbers.... so stick with the act 6 puck and pressure plate that goes with it.

I have a ACT HDSS mated with a fadanza flywheel. I actually dont like the feel of the act clutch its nice but I dont think it has a good feel to it. . I had a clutchnet clutch on it last and wish I still had it.
