Thumbs up to Competition Werkes
As most of you know, i have an 03 CBR600RR.. It came with the Comp Werkes fender eliminator kit installed by the previous owner. After about 2 weeks of having it, i was cleaning around the fender eliminator and moved it out of the way with it's hinge .. after finishing cleaning, i took it for a spin and heard a weird noise. It was the fender eliminator pressing down on my rear hugger, in turn melting off aobut 4 inches of the hugger, bending the fender eliminator all to hell, as well as my license plate. I emailed them and got a quick reply saying i must have gotten an early model of the fender eliminator, and they would send me an "update kit" to remedy this problem. Two days after emailing them, i had mail.
They sent me another complete kit (minus the blinkers), even an updated license plate light. Basically another $150 fender eliminator kit.
All though they may have F'ed up originally, the corrected their mistake in AMAZING speed.
So, they get a HUGE thumbs up from me.

Most places (my stereo shop included) charge a premium on parts and services to take into account unforeseeable situations. We usually go out of our way to make our customer's lives easier.
For example, I got a call from a local Chevy dealer and one of the used cars they sold had a broken cd player. The customer had a aftermarket cd player, cd changer, amplifier, and speaker box that he wanted to install in the vehicle.
The salesperson said they'd pay for all the installation but the remote control (we had to order 3-4 business day) and the cd changer cable (also 3-4 business day) the customer would have to fork up.
I sent an invoice to the used car sales manager and (because they charged a premium on the price of the vehicle) he said, they'll pay for the remote and changer cable.
I found the remote and cable at a warehouse about 15 miles away and sent a driver to pick it up so that we could get the customer finished today and he wouldn't have to come here again to install the changer. (Again because the dealer was paying generously for our services.)
The customer later came to pick up the vehicle and boy was he suprised to see that the vehicle was completely finished and he had a shiney new remote to go along with it... and he didn't pay anything extra.
Now that's customer service. You don't get that from your everyday bargain retailer.
