Default H22 Accord w. CEL codes 12 EGR lift valve and 23 Knock sensor

I have 96 Accord with H22 swap. CEL light comes on once in a while. I check the CEL codes and its 12 and 23 ..

CODE 12 - EGR - exhaust gas recirculation lift valve
CODE 23 - Knock sensor

.. now .. who knows how to fix these problems? does Knock sensor mean the sensor is bad? Code 12 mean the ERG lift valve is bad?

with an H22 motor, you might have an easier time posting this in the prelude forum. A lot more users of this motor in that section. Plus, for some reason, its now taboo to talk about H22 in the accord forum, people seem to not respond to H22 threads anymore. I think mostly because of repeats in threads. Good Luck.

Could be those things, the wiring, or vacuum controls.

There's nothing wrong with him posting in the Accord forum. Dont shlep him off to someone else just because he has a better engine than you.

i think all he is trying to say is that he will get more help there since certain prelude models came stock with H22s so lots of those kids have it. he's trying to help, not trying to be a homo, haha.
