What's the deal with them, they seem too good to be true at that price... Spoon knockoffs like the Rota Slipstreams but cheaper and only in black with yellow Flik lettering on the lip...

Rotas worth the extra 150-200 bucks from jaydm.com packaged?

Anyone have them? Quality wheels? Any way to take off that hideous yellow lettering that comes on it?

link goes to main page so don't know what price it showed but I tried to get a package from them a while back and got so much run around that I bought elsewhere. First it was the price. They were advertised at 599 or something with azenis. Called and told me the price was no good. Sure enough, there was fine print in the ad and on the site about pricing changes. Then they told me that shipping was going to be outrageous. Overall, it was going to be another $150 to get the wheels & tires. Finally, the guy told me that they weren't available right now because they were moving. When would they get more? No idea, 2 months, maybe 6. How about x wheel or y wheel? etc. etc. etc. I def. would not recommend buying from them.

Also, as for the pricing, the blast IS a slipstream, they're both made by the same company. I used to sale Rotas so trust me when I say that they are still making decent money on their deals.

Apparently they're in stock now, though no longer offered with the Azenis, decent tire the Falken 512 I believe, is 529+ 50 shipping or something.

I've decided on a diff wheel now so it doesn't matter to me either way

Pretty funny though that they're all made by the same place

 

Oh, any idea if the fugly yellow flik racing lettering around the lip could be removed without removing the black on the wheel?
