Pics of racing harnesses on stock seats
Hey I just wanted to see if nebody did this and I wanted to see what they looked liked. I did my driverside today but I don't have a Dig. Camera to show ya
dude, it's really not safe to run a racing harness on a stock seat. a true race seat has slots in which the shoulder harnesses are fed through. these slots keep the belts from separating in a collision. with a stock seat, there is really nothing to keep the belts from sliding off your shoulders and allowing your chest to come through the center of the belts. this is pretty dangerous so i'd be carefull...
also during the unlikely event of rolling over, if you dont have a rollbar which the harness attachment points should be attached to, its all over for your melon.
another very good point. basically if you just did it for looks (which i assume you did because you posted it in the appearance/cosmetic forum) it probably wasn't a very good idea.
