Default someone please help!! Idle problems.

Hey, I need some help. about 2000 miles ago I had my engine rebuilt and had a jackson racing supercharger installed on my '01 ITR. When I went to pick it up(2 weeks late) I started the car and the needle on the tach kept surging between 1500 and 2000 rpm. The mechanic told me that the computer had to adjust itself for the supercharger and that the problem would take care of itself. as instructed, I brought the car back after 500 miles to have the oil changed and to just do a general check to make sure everthing was okay. At this point, the car was no longer surging between 1500- 2000rpm, it begin idling at 1500 rpm and does not run smoothly. my mechanic had no idea what the problem was, and just on a hunch unplugged the idle controll solenoid. Immediatly the idle went to normal at 1000~1100 rpm and ran perfectly smooth. he Immediatly said that the solenoid was the problem, and since my knowledge of motors is limited to the basic systems, I told him to order the part. since the time I picked the car up, the check engine light kept coming on and I would take it to the shop to check and it was always the same codes, it was an idle problem and i was running too rich. the mechanic assured me that both problems would be corrected by changing my solenoid. well the solenoid came in this afternoon(20 days later). I went and my mechanic and he installed my new part and cleared all of the codes. the car idle perfectly for about 5 minutes at the shop. I paid for the part(they gave it to me at cost and didn't charge me labor and it was still $175) I left and about five miles later sitting at a stop light, the check engine light came on again and the car immediatly returned to idling @ 1500 rpm and not smooth. I could just keep the solenoid unplugged, but then the car won't stay running until it is completely warmed up, so if have to pop my hood plug it in, let the car warm up then reach into my hot engine and unplug it, but then the car still won't stay running if I try to run the air conditioning(and I live in georgia, it's hot). If anyone has any idea what the problem is please let me know. even if it's just a guess it could help. thanks

Need some information on your engine management-how are you adding fuel and retarding timing for boost? Send back a response with all of the JRSC stuf listed. I have a hunch that it is in your fuel management in that they either installed a new computer and it needs tuning or they hacked into your ECU somehow to get the computer to recognize boost. I do not know anything about Jackson but I do know your ECU will not see boost. You might also try going to their website and doing some searching.

one more thought- I did help a friend with a Miata that had a JRSC and he was having problems passing inspection. He ended up going out of the county and registering there to get it passed. We had trouble finding information on this system.

Fuel managment is stock with the exception of a JR fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. computer is stock, and my mechanic told me that the computer would adjust it self after so many miles of driving. it sounded funny to me, but he seemed pretty confident so I just took his word for it.
