Humming Birdy

My EVAC is makeing this loud humming noise. It stops sometimes when I drive a bit, but starts back up. It doesnt seem to ecceft the driveability of the car. What would cause this?

kind of a screeching noise? mine does that too, only under no load though, if i get on it, it goes away. id like to know what the hell it is.
