i have an 89 civic hatch is there a difference between a 1.5 or 1.6 tranmmission . Are the axles the same

 

89 hatch was available in three models - STD 1.5 8-valve DPFI with 4spd transmission - DX 1.5 16-valve DPFI with 5spd or automatic - Si 1.6 16-valve MPFI with 5spd - the STD model has smaller knuckles/hubs and uses smaller axles - DX and Si use the same axles - the transmissions are all interchangeable
