Get a stick.....lol....sorry had too

I got some crane cams off Mr.Beeks here on HT. However they are not installed yet. You are pretty limited on your choices. Crane is one of the few companys that makes a non-vtec cam. OBX does, but they have a bad rep.

You could allways look to Exospeed for some re-grinds. You are limited on what you can do with a re-grind, but you are limited with the auto, so that might be a good way to go.

As far as cam gears you can go with pretty much anything. Skunk makes some nice ones, AEM, Spoon. I would stay away from the cheap e-bay ones as they might slip and cost you a ton of money.

yeap he got my cams...
good on mid-high range w/out changing the valvetrain...

and yes you could get a stick tranny....
if you do a search you will find that the clutch does not mean
necesseraly needs to be operated by foot...
there are other means to operate its only a cable that could be relocated
for ex:
the shifter....

Get Crower cams or Toda B-Spec. Those are nice cams for the B18a/b engine.

Nothing wrong with building up a automatic. You have the privledge of just mashing the gas without the worry of shifting. Two words: never lift.

Anyhow, for cam gears, they are pretty much all the same. I would look for a gear with five fasteners to prevent slipping. Stay away from the three fastener gears.

Cams you can go with Crower, Crane, JG Engine Dynamics, Bullfrog (Gude), just a few names off the top of my head. Look into Crower 404's though, very popular with the non-vtec guys.

Also, since you do have an auto you might want to consider a torque converter as well.

Good Luck!

thanks for the help guys. yeah a torque converter is one of things i would love to add. i think i might be getting a hold of a 2 tranny and building that up and adding it.
thanks for the help with the cams and such.
