finally did it...... oops..... o well :)

did it at my favorite on/off ramps... went around 2x and then touched down..... i was soo excited.. i've been workin on it for a while, last night i brought the twist of the wrist books to work with me to study, and i just went through the check list and viola....
its soo weird,.. you think your sooo close sometimes when ur doing it the wrong way, then u do it correctly, and u feel like ur farther away, but ur really scraping on the ground......
YAH so i ruined my pants...... JOE ROCKET put the sliders in the wrong spot, now i need to save up and get me a nice suit...... frofan... if i ever save up the money i'd like to check urs out.....
i probably went around 30x after that to practive getting comfortable with the knee touching the ground.....
now i know i can do it, ill have to save the hard riding for the track.....
(need money, trackdays cant come soon enough)
-will
i dragged my knee around the offramps just outside of buffalo, unfortunately the pucks arent in the right place..... ill be gettin an alpinestars suit as soon as i get the money..... textile didnt hold up to well
i need a leather suit eventually, yea they move around a bit, but not enough to put them where i need them to be.... poor design.. i compared the position to an alpinestars gp 2 piece suit and the A* had them in the right place.... time to start saving
thanks

thanks

read the books twist of the wrist and twist of the wrist 2.... basically,
get in position before putting any input to the bars.. you want to be in position before you begin the lean, outside leg presses against the tank, and outside arm pretty much is relaxed on the tank....... press as you normally would, many people try to kiss the mirror, just MAKE SURE YOU LOOK THROUGH THE CORNER... im not responsible if you wreck either.... lol anybody else have any more hints just post em up

how coulld i forget and nobody correct me......
one of the most important things one needs to understand is that SMOOTHER = Faster......... when u upset a bikes suspension you loose some of the bikes traction, be smooth, save as much traction as you can.... if you watch a pro go though a corner try to watch the suspension (fork height, tail height) they go virtuallly unchanged through the entire turn)
SMOOTH = FAST
if you get smooth, you will naturally get faster
